Happy Birthday Meilin!
We celebrated her birthday with a few parties this week. We had an early birthday party here at home and another one on her birthday at Grandma's house. Jodie's parents were in town so they made it to both. She was so excited, and a bit surprised, to have all of the attention and presents directed her way. Meigan stayed back with Grandpa and let her enjoy the moment all by herself. Plenty of cake, presents, and fun...............Thanks Everyone!

Yes, it was a disaster. I worked on a cake for a week and ruined it the night before. It was supposed to be 3 large tiers. I ruined it and had to salvage what I could into something else. I did try some new recipes and it was delish!
