Little Girls Room

Meigan and Meilin's room is ready to go. I love how it turned out. I picked this bedding out over 3 years ago when we started the adoption process. They will share a room for now, but it is the biggest bedroom in the house and we designed the closet for two when we built it.

Meigan transitioned right into her bed and has been sleeping in it for a few weeks now. Now if we could just get Meilin home! 31 days waiting for LOA but who's counting?

Alpine Slide and Coaster

The Alpine slide was one of my favorite things as a kid. We went alot. Now it is one of my kids favorite things to do in the summertime. Meigan was too little to go and so she stayed with Grandma and Grandpa. (Thank-you!) Luckily Madison and Dalton can both ride themselves next year because Brian and I will both have a lap rider! Hard to believe that next year at this time the little girls will already be 2 1/2yrs old.

July 4th Parade

We spend the 4th of July @ Jodie's parents every year. The kids love it. They have a local neighborhood parade, carnival and pancake breakfast put on by the Lions Club. Any one can be in the parade.....simply decorate your bike, scooter, float and show up. This year we watched it. Jodie's sister, her kids, and dog were in it. Then Brian and Grandpa took the kids to the carnival at the park for games and sno cones.

Rodeo Fun!

Every year we go to the rodeo with Jodie's family. I am not sure we actually watch any of the rodeo except for the clown act. The kids have more fun at the Fishing Pond, getting snacks and goofing off.

Patriotic Hair

We are having fun with Dalton's hair this summer. This was our first attempt at Hair tatoos. Brian did the shaving and it turned out Awesome! Yes, the color washed right out.

Meigan's Photo Session-Take Two

Meigan will not "open up" for a photographer so we had to settle for a do-it-yourself photo session for her 18 month photos. She smiles for snapshots everyday with no problem. Getting her dressed up and making her stand in new places is another story. The first time we tried we got nothing worth printing. This time we almost gave up but tried one last bribe using fruit snacks. Who knew fruit snacks could be so funny? The smile appeared and even the word "cheese." (she doesn't say many words so that was huge) We didn't get any spectacular shots, but a few of these will work.
