In China, they say kids are noodle girls or rice girls, not both....Meilin is definitely a Noodle Girl!

Here is the video of Madison's Cheer Squad that I have been promising.
Today was Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year. What better way to celebrate than with Chinese Hotpot for dinner. Meilin was so excited to have some normal food. And just like every time we have hotpot, she out ate everyone! It was delicious! The other kids had a little and then filled up on their requested Mac and Cheese and then we all devoured chocolate strawberries for dessert.
3 months ago Meilin spit out, screamed, and refused ice-cream. We continued to make her try it anyway, trying all flavors. The first ice-cream she ate and enjoyed was a Wendy's chocolate frosty. Here she is enjoying a twist cone, all by herself. It was finger-licking good!
School was out today and Brian had a long lunch so we took the kids and their friends to lunch. They all had alot of fun playing. The older girls were great at teaching the little girls how to play on the equipment.
Meigan has been sleeping in a regulart bed since July of 2009. That is.... until we returned from China. No matter what we did she would not sleep through the night or in her bed. So we recently set up a portable crib in her room and just like magic, she's sleeping again! What a relief to finally have them both sleeping through the night and taking naps at the same time in the same room! It also doubles as the girls new favorite place to play.
Both of the little girls LOVE to clean. They think they are really getting away with something if they sneak the baby wipes and start cleaning!!! Do you think there is any chance of this sticking with them as they grow up?
